New Life, New Stitching Corner

Photobucket

My blog has been quiet of late. I've been busy. I finally found a way and the courage to leave. I'm not going to spout a load of personal stuff, but I will show you a pic of my new stitching corner!

Hugs to {you}! I did the same 11 years ago now- I'm proof that it CAN be done, and I'm SO happy now. I will admit to some (well, actually quite a few) tears when I felt sorry for myself, but I stayed as strong as I could for my daughter, and we managed. It took a year, but I met someone new and we've been "together" for 10 years, but are happily not married.
I also managed to get lots and lots of stitching done (mainly becuase I no longer had to be laundress, secretary, chef de cuisine, maid and bedroom slave to someone I could no longer tolerate)
Be strong and allow time for yourself- you deserve it!

(((Lorna)))

I wish you strength, peace, and happiness in your new life.

Your new stitching corner is beautiful -- even through the monitor, it feels peaceful. I wish my stitching area was half as wonderful.

Take extra good care of yourself, gal!!
